Spring Skiing and Riding at its Best!
Spring skiing and riding is in full effect here at Loveland Ski Area complete with blue skies, sunshine and of course great snow! A small storm gave us over half a foot earlier this week and there is a chance we may get a little more in time for the weekend. Beat the spring break crowds and enjoy skiing a mountain packed with snow, not people! You can also save some money by purchasing tickets from one of our offsite locations.

Tall Tees & Tacos Brings the Skills to Love Park!
A big thank you to everyone who came out to show off their skills in the Love Park last weekend and congratulations to all the winners! The results and pictures have been posted online so check those out and be sure not to miss our next Tall Tees & Tacos slopestyle comp taking place on Saturday, May 1st; Loveland's closing weekend!

Subaru Hosts Master the Mountain at Loveland!
Loveland is excited to host Subaru's Master the Mountain this weekend, March 27th & 28th. Subaru has created an event weekend dedicated to promoting a safe and enjoyable snowrider environment. Join us for mini-lessons with the Loveland Ski & Ride School at no cost, Nordica demos and an insight to Ski Patrol operations with an avalanche awareness and beacon training session. The first 100 Subaru's receive front row parking and Subaru will provide free popcorn, hot chocolate, coffee and giveaways for everyone. There is no cost to participate although a valid lift ticket is required.


Loveland Derby Celebrates 50 Years!
The Loveland Derby is the largest amateur race in North America and this season the event celebrates its 50th anniversary. This year's Derby will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 17th and 18th at Loveland Valley with a special Alumni race and apres party on April 16th. All racers are invited to come out and celebrate the end of the 09-10 season with costumes, BBQs and fast paced racing fun for the entire family. Spring Sales Heat up at the Loveland Sports Shop
The Loveland Sports Shop spring sales are starting to heat up with 30-50% off many name brand products. Also don't forget that this Saturday, March 27th is Tie-Dye day so be sure to sport your favorite colors or pick up a new 2010 Loveland spring break tie-dye from the sport shop! Upcoming Events

Venture Snowboards Demo Day - Friday, March 26th
For over a decade Venture Snowboards has been handcrafting boards in the San Juan mountain range of Colorado and now they visit Loveland for you to test out their latest models. There is not cost to demo, although a valid lift ticket and credit card for deposit are required.

Subaru's Master the Mountain - Saturday & Sunday, March 27th & 28th
Subaru has created an event weekend dedicated to promoting a safe a enjoyable snowrider environment. Join us for mini-lessons, ski patrol demonstrations, giveaways and VIP parking for the first 100 Subaru's. Participation is free to all skiers and snowboarders with a valid lift ticket.

K2 Snowboards Demo Day - March 31st
K2 snowboards visits Loveland for their spring demo tour. Stop by the K2 tent and try out all of K2's latest and greatest boards at absolutely no cost. A valid lift ticket and credit card for deposit are required.


New Belgium Brewery's Scavenger Hunt - Saturday, April 3rd
New Belgium Brewing returns to Loveland to host their popular Scavenger Hunt on April 3rd. Put together a team, dress up in costumes, and race around the mountain solving riddles and answering clues all for the chance to win some great swag from NBB and Loveland. Be prepared for some zany fun, delicious NBB beer, and of course great skiing!
