Spring Snow Storm and Season Pass Announcement!

Spring Skiing and Riding at its Best!
The snow has started to fall here at Loveland Ski Area as a storm pushes in from the west. The forecast is still uncertain how much we may get although there is a chance for snow through the weekend. The skiing and riding here is already spring skiing at its best and with some fresh snow you don't want to miss out!


Loveland Valley Set to Close Sunday, May 4th
Now that spring is in the air The Loveland Valley is set to close for the season this weekend, Sunday, April 4th. The Loveland Ski & Ride School will continue to operate at the Basin through closing day, May 2nd.

Late season ticket pricing begins on Monday, April 5th with adult lift tickets for $44 and child tickets for $22. 2010 - 2011 season passes also go on sale Monday, April 5th. Visit us online for details and prices for Season Passes and Late Season Tickets.

New Belgium Brewery's On-Hill Scavenger Hunt Returns!
With weather patterns looking like a dry erase board at a 2-year-old's birthday party and temperatures hitting the mid-70's in January, can things get any weirder? New Belgium Brewery says yes, and they are willing to put their beer where your mouth is to prove it. We're happy to announce we're bringing back our on-hill Scavenger Hunt !

This is a day to don your best costume, chase chickens, search for bigfoot and answer some ridiculous riddles all while skiing, raising money for a great local non-profit, and bonding with your friends. So get a buddy or six, bring $10 and your ski pass, or purchase a lift ticket, and join the fleet of New Belgium characters on the slopes of Loveland for a Scavenger Hunt like no other this Saturday, April 3rd.

Loveland Welcomes City Workers During Furlough Day !
The employees of the City and County of Denver are taking a mandatory furlough day on Friday, April 2. As a thank you to these employees for their sacrifice, Loveland Ski Area is excited to offer discount tickets to these employees and their immediate family on Friday, April 2, 2010. Employees must show a valid employee ID to receive the discount. These employees are eligible to purchase adult tickets for $20 each(limit 2) and child tickets for just $10 each(no limit). This discount is valid on April 2, 2010 ONLY.


2010 - 2011 Season Passes On Sale April 5th at Lowest Prices!
Loveland is excited to announce that 2010 - 2011 Season Pass go on sale Monday, April 5th at the lowest possible prices. Lock in the lowest price and ski on your pass for the remained of this season! Don't forget, all season passes come with 3 days at Monarch Mountain, and now 3 days at Durango Mountain Resort , plus tons of other great perks! Prices expire on May 31st, 2010.

Loveland Derby Celebrates 50 Years!
The Loveland Derby is the largest amateur race in North America and this season the event celebrates its 50th anniversary. This year's Derby will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 17th and 18th at Loveland Valley with a special Alumni race and apres party on April 16th. All racers are invited to come out and celebrate the end of the 09-10 season with costumes, BBQs and fast paced racing fun for the entire family. Keep your eyes peeled on the slopes of Loveland this Easter Weekend because the Easter Bunny has been spotted with eggs, candy and photo opportunities for all!



All Terrain All Conditions Clinic: Focus TBD - Sunday, April 4th
Fine tune your skills and explore Loveland's most challenging terrain with one of our professional, experienced instructors. These 2-1/2 hour programs include an all mountain lift ticket and begin at 10:00am at Loveland Basin. For more information and reservations, call 303-571-5580 x163.

The Loveland Poker Run - Autism Society Benefit - Saturday, April 17th
Spice up that already great day of skiing with an on-hill game of poker! The only thing different with this poker game is there are no losers! All the proceeds will benefit the Autism Society of Colorado. Ski around the mountain and visit the different dealers to pick up your hand and turn it in at the end of the day. There are tons of great prizes for the winners and it is all for a great cause!
