With only a few weeks left in the 2009-2010 ski season it's time to get those last ski days in before we are closed for the summer! Closing day has been set for Sunday, May 2nd, although the snow and conditions are so great you wouldn't think the end of the season was right around the corner. With a couple great events coming up, live music and great spring skiing still to be had, make Loveland your choice for some outdoor fun!
Loveland Derby Celebrates 50 Years - This Weekend!
The Loveland Derby is the largest amateur race in North America and this weekend the event celebrates its 50th anniversary! The Derby will take place at Loveland Valley with a special alumni race and apres party on April 16th. All racers are invited to come out and celebrate the end of the 09-10 season with costumes, BBQs and fast paced racing fun for the entire family. Charity Poker Run This Saturday!
This Saturday, April 17th, Sunglass Management Design will be hosting a charity Poker Run at Loveland Ski Area. All proceeds from this event will go to the Autism Society of Colorado. Autism is a disorder of the brain that is currently affecting 1 in 135 children in Colorado. Register the morning of on the patio for only $50 including a lift ticket, or $20 if you already have a pass. Then ski around the mountain to visit the dealers and build your hand. The best hand at the end of the day wins. Tons of prizes, live music and great skiing all for a good cause!
2010 - 2011 Season Passes On Sale Now at Lowest Prices!
Loveland is excited to announce that 2010 - 2011 Season Passes are on sale now at the lowest possible prices. Lock in the lowest price and ski on your pass for the remained of this season! Don't forget, all season passes come with 3 days at Monarch Mountain , and now 3 days at Durango Mountain Resort, plus tons of other great perks! Prices expire on May 31st, 2010.

Late Season Pricing and Ski & Ride School Update
Now that spring has arrived The Loveland Valley has closed for the season. The Loveland Ski & Ride School will continue to operate at the Basin through closing day, May 2nd. For information on lessons, call 303-571-5580 x 170.
Late season ticket pricing has begun with adult lift tickets for $44 and child tickets for $22. 2010 - 2011 season passes are also on sale now and valid for the remainder of this season. Visit us online for details and prices for Season Passes and Late Season Tickets.

Corn Harvest Benefit Ski Party - Saturday, April 24th
Join us on Saturday, April 24th as Loveland Ski Area hosts the 9th annual Corn Harvest benefit ski party for the Colorado Avalanche Information Center. Discount packages including lift tickets, lunch, beer, raffle and donation will be available at morning registration. A special BBQ will be served up with New Belgium beer and a giant raffle will be giving away some amazing prizes. This is the last big party of the season that you wont want to miss.
Tall Tees & Tacos Slopestyle Competition - Saturday, May 1st
Come celebrate closing weekend with the Tall Tees & Tacos Slopestyle Competition. All ages and abilities are invited to compete for the chance to win some of the $10,000 in prizes. Register the morning of for only $20 and receive a t-shirt and lunch from Wahoo's Fish Taco. Registration is open to the first 80 competitors and coupons on lift tickets and registration can be found at any Colorado Wahoo's Fish Taco location.
